Ogunquit is New England's fun, exciting, family-friendly destination which possesses all the qualities that make a vacation memorable. Equipped with a pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, and playground - this cottage is one of two dozen on a parcel of land central to everything southern Maine has to offer.
Local attractions
Include antique shops, craft fairs, summer concerts and festivals. Visit Wells Harbor for exciting family fishing and kayaking trips. Also within a short distance are the Ogunquit Playhouse, Marginal Way (a one mile paved path which borders the ocean) and Perkins Cove (shops, deep sea fishing and sightseeing cruises). Go a little further and visit Mt. Agamenticus, 36,000 acres of conservation land with beautiful scenic hiking trails for the whole family. Nearby in Kennebunkport, you have whale watching cruises and the Seashore Trolley Museum which houses the world’s largest collection of trolleys and streetcars.
The Kittery Outlets (200+ stores) and Freeport (home to LL Bean) are less than a hour’s drive from Belle of Maine. Wells is fast becoming a golfer’s paradise with two new 18-hole courses. This will compliment more than a dozen existing facilities ranging from mini-golf and pitch & putt to championship caliber courses. The fun continues with much more ranging from Ogunquit Beach to the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge.
